- Naming rights to Japan Day 2013 (i.e. company name followed by Japan Day)
- Company name and logo will be published on our event program and posters
- Company name and logo will be published in all media advertisements where possible
- The MC will introduce and acknowledge your company and booth (if any) at the opening ceremony and between performances throughout the day
- Your representative will be invited to the opening ceremony as a VIP guest and if you wish, we will make time for your representative to give a brief speech during the day
- Japan Day advertisements will be played on air for two weeks on Chinese radio in the lead up to the event on 24 February. Advertisements will be played at least 4 times a day
- Japan Day advertisements (with voice-over, 15 seconds duration) will be played nationwide on Chinese and Korean TV for two weeks in the lead up to the event on 24 February, 2013.
Advertisements will be played at least 4 times a day (56 spots or more over 2 weeks)
- Up to six (6) sections of exhibition space in the hall/outdoors are provided
- We will do our best to ensure that your exhibition space is in an area of high exposure
- We will enclose any of your brochures/printed materials with the JSA newsletter for 1 year (6 issues) free of charge. Printed materials submitted to us must be A4 size or smaller (your company must bear the printing costs)
- A4 full size advertisement of your company in the JSA newsletter for 1 year (6 issues). Your advertisement can be changed for each issue.

Other information
- We have hosted Japan Day (co-hosted with the Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland) since 2001. The number of visitors has increased over the years, and while the number dropped in 2011 due to the effect of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake happened just two days before the Japan Day, it attracted over 40,000 people in 2012. We have attached the event programme with photos of Japan Day 2012 for your information.
- We can provide a copy of support letters from Consulate-General of Japan, Asia New Zealand Foundation and other organisations.
- If you require further information, please feel free to contact one of our committee members via info@jsa.org.nz or www.japanday.co.nz . You may wish to discuss specific matters with our committee members who are responsible for your organisation. There are also video clips showcasing Japan day on YouTube. Search Japan Day Auckland or Google, and you will find them plenty.
- Please note that power points and other fixtures are not available at every exhibition booth. However, with a small charge we can supply power point(s).
- Acceptance of sponsorship is on a first come first served basis
Conditions and Schedule
- First printed edition of the Japan Day 2013 poster without your sponsorship logo will be distributed by the end of November 2012.
- Applications for sponsorship will close on 23 December 2012.
- Please provide your official company/organisation name and logo by 7 January 2013 for final poster printing.
- Please pay the agreed sponsorship fee by 15 January 2013 (we will issue a GST tax invoice). Once your name and logo are printed on posters and advertisements, there will be no refund for any cancellations made after 15 January 2013.
- The final Japan Day 2013 poster with your name and logo will be printed and distributed by the end of January 2013.
- Please provide details of your display/booth/plan by 1 February 2013.
- Exhibitors can set up their displays/booths on Saturday 23 February 2013.
- We reserve the right to cancel/decline your sponsorship application, exhibition, should we deem your activities /displays and/or products to be unsuitable or against the spirit of the Japan Day.
