The 18th Japan Day

Venue : Eden Park (near Kingsland Train Station) Auckland, New Zealand


There are several levels of Sponsorship which your organization could be fit and contribute to the event for the success.

Japan Day 2015 Sponsers

Note :

  • If you like to contribute as a sponsor and has not been recognised by us for the Japan Day 2019, please contact us before entering the Stall Application Form.

I. Sponsorship Levels

Platinum Sponsor with Naming Rights : $20,000+GST

※One (1) company/organization only

  • Naming rights to Japan Day 2019 (i.e. company name followed by Japan Day)
  • Your company name and logo will be printed on our posters, which will be displayed in various places in the venue.
  • The MC will introduce and acknowledge your company and booth (if any) at the opening ceremony and between performances throughout the day.
  • Your representative will be invited to the opening ceremony as a VIP guest.
  • We will do our best to ensure that your exhibition space is in an area of high exposure.
  • Up to six (6) sections of exhibition space are provided.
  • Up to ten (10) tables, twenty (20) chairs can be provided upon your request.
  • Advertisement in the JSA quarterly newsletter for 4 issues (1 year).

Esteemed Contributor and Supporter : $10,000+GST

  • Your company name and logo will be printed on our posters, which will be displayed in various places in the venue.
  • The MC will introduce and acknowledge your company and booth (if any) at the opening ceremony and between performances throughout the day.
  • Your representative will be invited to the opening ceremony as a VIP guest.
  • We will do our best to ensure that your exhibition space is in an area of high exposure.
  • Up to six (6) sections of exhibition space are provided.
  • Up to ten (10) tables, twenty (20) chairs can be provided upon your request.
  • Advertisement in the JSA quarterly newsletter for 3 issues.

Gold Sponsor : $8,000+GST

  • Your company name and logo will be printed on our posters, which will be displayed in various places in the venue.
  • The MC will introduce and acknowledge your company and booth (if any) at the opening ceremony and between performances throughout the day.
  • Your representative will be invited to the opening ceremony as a VIP guest.
  • We will do our best to ensure that your exhibition space is in an area of high exposure.
  • Up to four (4) sections of exhibition space are provided.
  • Up to six (8) tables, sixteen (16) chairs can be provided upon your request.
  • Advertisement in the JSA quarterly newsletter for 2 issues.

Silver Sponsor : $3,000+GST

  • Your company name and logo will be printed on our posters, which will be displayed in various places in the venue.
  • Up to two (2) sections of exhibition space are provided.
  • Up to four (4) tables, eight (8) chairs can be provided upon your request.
  • We will do our best to ensure that your exhibition space is in an area of high exposure.

Bronze Sponsor : $1,500+GST

  • Your company name and logo will be printed on our posters, which will be displayed in various places in the venue.
  • One (1) section of exhibition space is provided.
  • Up to two (2) tables, four (4) chairs can be provided upon your request.
  • We will do our best to ensure that your exhibition space is in an area of high exposure.

Friends Sponsor : Minimum $100+GST

  • Your Company name will be printed on our event program and posters.
  • Contribution from minimum $100 up to $1,500 of your choice.

Note :

◇ One (1) section is 3m x 3m.

◇ Logo and color advertisement design (if any) shall be provided, and the design cost covered by the advertiser.

◇ Fees for additional space and/or rental goods, please refer to 「Stall and Rental Fees」page, section for "Non Sponsors".

II. Other information

  1. Japan day is the biggest annual cultural event hosted by Japan Day Committee since 2001, co-hosted by Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland with support from Japanese Chamber of Commerce if Auckland (Nisuikai). This event is an ever-growing event and has evolved significantly over the years.
  2. We can provide copies of support letters from Consulate-General of Japan and other organisations upon your request.
  3. If you require further information, please feel free to contact one of our committee members via info@jsa.org.nz or www.japanday.org.nz. You may wish to discuss specific matters with our Japan Day committee members responsible for your organisation.
  4. There are also video clips showcasing Japan day on YouTube. Please search by “Japan Day Auckland” or Google.
  5. Please note that power points and other fixtures are not available at every exhibition booth. However, we can supply power point(s) for a small charge.
  6. Acceptance of sponsorship is on a first come first served basis.

III. Conditions and Schedule

  1. We (Japan Day Committee) reserve the right to make the final decision on whether to hold the 18th Japan Day in 2019. In case of a cancellation, we shall terminate this sponsorship agreement and refund the received sponsorship fee immediately.
  2. Applications for sponsorship will open on Monday 1 October and closes Friday 1 February 2019.
  3. Please provide your official company/organisation name and logo by Friday 1 February 2019.
  4. Please pay the agreed sponsorship fee by Friday 1 February 2019 (GST tax invoice will be issued upon a confirmation of your application). As your name and logo will be printed on posters and advertisements, there will be no refund for any cancellation made by you after 2 February 2019.
  5. The final Japan Day 2019 poster with your name and logo will be printed and distributed in mid-February 2019.
  6. Please provide details of your display/booth/plan by Friday 15 February 2019.
  7. Exhibitors will be able to set up their displays/booths on Saturday 2 March 2019.
  8. We reserve the right to cancel/decline your sponsorship application, exhibition, should we deem your activities /displays and/or products to be unsuitable for or against the spirit of Japan Day.
